- Register an account at IRCTC to book tickets online
- Once you log in and register, you get a screen as below
- Enter your source and destination stations with date
- The list of all trains available between the selected source and destination stations appear on the screen.
- Choose the train suitable for your journey, from the list and click Book Ticket. This will take you to the following page.
- Enter details of every passenger like name, age, sex, preferred berth etc and click Go.
- On clicking “Make Payment“, a window will pop-up giving the list of payment options.
- After making the payment successfully, the User is shown the ticket confirmation details along with a “Print Reservation Slip” button. On clicking the button ERS is shown with an option to print.
