SBI Mutual Fund When the topic of mutual fund is the center of discussion, the consideration of SBI mutual fund is obvious. Mutual fund is an investment option for the public where small savings of mass number of people are pooled together and then are channelized into fruitful investment which gives the investors safety of returns along with regular income. There is a separate group of people who manages the fund and takes investment decisions. In similar context, the SBI mutual fund is one of the oldest and the largest mutual fund prevailing in India. The fund has a base of about 5.8 millions along with an expert management group who has the experience of 20 years in this field.

As the name suggests, the mutual fund drives most of the sources from the State Bank of India and is the largest mutual fund in India which is currently being sponsored by a bank. The SBI mutual fund is the principal source of about 80% of the crest corporate houses. Added to it, SBI mutual fund has its joint venture with one of most leading fund management companies names as Société Générale Asset Management of France.

Currently, it is the 20th year of this mutual fund and in these 20 years, the fund has already issued 38 different schemes and has redeemed a portion of them which comes to the number 15. A mutual fund with such a huge investor base and such expertise management can only afford to grow over the years as it has both the essentials of investor’s faith and proper management.
